  • 3 cakes 18 cm in diameter
  • 1 package of Oreo cookies
  • 1 package of mini-Oreo
  • 100 g brown chocolate flavored sugar dough

For the vanilla buttercream

  • 750 g sifted icing sugar
  • 240 g of sweet butter, at room temperature
  • 7 cl of whole milk
  • 4 drops of liquid vanilla extract
  • 1 orange gel dye tip


Prepare the vanilla buttercream

Using a food processor or an electric mixer, whisk together the icing sugar and butter at low speed until the mixture is smooth and has a sandy consistency.

Mix the milk and vanilla in a separate bowl, then add them to the butter mixture by pouring a few tablespoons at a time. Once all the milk has been incorporated, increase the speed of the mixer and continue beating for at least 5 minutes until the icing becomes light and airy. The more the icing is beaten, the softer and lighter it will be.

Once the buttercream has an airy consistency color it with the orange dye, you need at least a teaspoon of dye to get a strong orange. Beat again to spread the color.

Prepare the cakes

Using a cookie cutter about 8cm in diameter, hollow out the center cake. Dig the other 2 cakes lightly in the center to create a small cavity (be careful not to dig too much so as not to weaken the cakes).

Stack the cakes by squeezing them with orange buttercream, being careful not to glaze inside the cake hole. Fill the cavity with candies before closing with the last cake.

Ice the cake with a thin layer of orange icing and let cool for 30 minutes.

Prepare the eyes of the monster

Open the Oreos in 2 and gently rotate them to separate them. Keep the game with apparent white. Scrape lightly with the blade of a knife to obtain a white white.

Model small balls of chocolate sugar dough and place one in the center or around each white part to form eyes.

Attach 5 or 6 large Oreo eyes to straws with a chocolate dough ball on the back of the cookie.

Prepare the monster's hair

Once the first layer of glaze has been set, transfer the rest of the frosting into a piping bag with a hair / herb socket. Punch the monster's hair from the base of the cake and go up by tape to the top. Keep cool until ready to serve.

When serving, decorate Oreos eyes by pairing them all around the cake and plant eyes on straws on the cake.
